2013 Lexus ES 300h offers the driver of the four modes: Normal, Sport, Eco and EV. EV mode allows the drive short distances, the speed is reduced, using only the power from the hybrid battery. Normal mode provides a combination of performance and efficiency that is suitable for everyday driving, while the Eco mode favors fuel economy. Sport mode increases the response powertrain.
Modern interior of the 2013 Lexus ES 300h has been designed to provide a sense of openness and security. Sightlines and enhanced visibility, logically placed controls, and a new cabin materials express high levels of expertise. Lexus ES has a new profile, lower progressive, and clean styling lines continuously from front to back. All four corners tightly drawn in to the wheel arch, creating different proportions. The new ES wheelbase has been extended by 1.8 inches, while the overall length of the vehicle has grown by just an inch, so the interior is more spacious.
The new Lexus ES 300h will feature upgraded seating surfaces NuLuxe, developed to reduce environmental impact. A new chair sculptures enhance driver comfort. Steering wheel angle has been reduced from 24 degrees to 22 degrees for a more natural position control. Fluid-filled engine mounts, new materials absorb sound and tuned engine intake to minimize external noise intrusion.
Large rear seat legroom and knee space are characteristic of the cabin, more spacious redesigned. Knee space increased by 2.8 inches and legroom increased by 4.1 inches. The new design also offers additional leg room under the front seats.
